His work has always included leading transformative, multi-year efforts that break significant technical barriers. He has a passion for analyzing challenges, developing achievable strategies for solving those challenges, and empathetically bringing others on the journey. He holds a Computer Engineering degree from Dartmouth College.

In her 20+ years of PR and marketing experience, she’s focused her work on supporting companies and organizations at the forefront of technology and social change, helping them turn their deep insight into industry-moving action.

Steve Wimmer has driven technological advancements across many industries through his work at several product design firms. His current focus is on product innovation in healthcare, looking at how AI-based technologies can solve issues like clinician burnout and improve operational excellence. Most recently he was part of the IT leadership team at Providence St. Joseph Health. Steve holds an MS in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis, and a BS in Electrical Engineering and BA in Modern Languages and Linguistics from the University of Notre Dame.

Valerie Courtney is a philanthropy strategist with over two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, comprehensive fundraising programs, board engagement, and capital campaign execution. She played a key role in Seattle Children's record-breaking $1.42B campaign and has advised organizations ranging from education and contemplative practice to early-stage nonprofits. Val is focused on helping mission-driven organizations connect vision and strategy with effective action and results.

Chris Steck

Senior Technical Advisor

Chris Steck has led technology strategy and standards for companies like Microsoft, RealNetworks, Cisco, and Xperi for over 25 years. His past standards leadership roles include CTO of IMTC, Strategy chair for Open Connectivity Foundation and IoT Strategic Advisor for GlobalPlatform. Most recently, Chris led EIDR’s Content Authenticity initiative. Chris is passionate about ethical and transparent AI and drives emerging standards and open source to facilitate developer implementation of AI policy and regulation.
